Several of my new images of the young Japanese guys from tattoo conventions in Aichi (Japan) have entered exhibition in Las Vegas.
I started to exhibit my images in 2014 in the Museum de Branly , located in Paris, which ran 14 month exhibition. It was a great start which helped to start a series of art exhibitions in brick-wall museums, who showed their interest about my work.
The Royal Ontario Museum ran the exhibition in Toronto in 2016.
The Field Museum ran the exhibition in Chicago in 2017.
And there is 2019. Two more exhibitions are scheduled.
First one has been already opened in Pop Vegas, a culture exhibition space owned by Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas. Web pages will come soon.
Check it later this month!
All images are projected on 15 meter walls.
Within the time of the exhibition, the organizer expect 150K visitors.
The second exhibition of this year is going to be open in Vesterheim Museum in Iowa in June.
The most of exhibited images are in the books “Tattoo in Japan” or “Horikazu, traditional tattoo master from Asakusa”.
