Horiyoshi dragons were a great present for those who bought his book during King of Tattoo Convention. He invest extra time and energy to drew a dragon into each book.
As many Japanese tattoo masters also Horiyoshi III likes to drew dragons. The main reason is that it’s a creature from mythology, so every tattooist employing his own imagination to create own dragon.
Horiyoshi III is a person who I always enjoyed to meet. His friendly attitude toward to other people was also obvious during the last King of Tattoo convention, where he has no problem to sign his books but also draw some extra picture into each sold book.
And what more, even thought he is over 70, he has no problem to submit that he got drunk other day and gained few stitches on his front head. What’s the man. I want to be like he is when I grow in his age.“Age is a state of mind” and we are “only as old as we feel”…..
